As the founder and photographer of Forlie Studio, Donovan Victoria brings over seven years of experience in photography to life through captivating fashion stories that spark conversation and inspire audiences. With a rich background in film and production design, she masterfully utilizes costume, color, and curated tableaus to express her unique vision.
Throughout her career, Donovan has collaborated with numerous brands, magazines, and models, producing memorable images that showcase her distinctive style, creativity, and ability to adapt her work to any medium. Her ability to blend artistry with storytelling sets her work apart in the competitive fashion photography landscape.
Donovan created Forlie Studio not as a physical space (yet), but as a conceptual haven to nurture ideas, develop creative work, and build a vibrant community. It serves as a dynamic platform where imagination thrives, collaboration flourishes, and innovative projects come to life. By transcending traditional boundaries, Forlie Studio embodies Donovan’s vision of connecting like-minded individuals to inspire each other, grow, and create together. It stands as a testament to her commitment to creativity, connection, and collective progress.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Donovan is passionate about sharing her love for visual arts with students. She taught middle school art in Queens, New York, where she engaged and motivated learners through diverse and interactive activities. Holding a BA in Photography with a concentration in Fashion from Columbia College Chicago, she has honed her skills in both photography and film, continuously seeking to expand her knowledge and explore new genres, and is currently in the process of getting her Master of Arts in Teaching from NYU Steinhardt.
